Audain Art Museum Wedding
Melissa + Brendan
Melissa and Brendan first connected over their shared love of music back in 2016, and their relationship has grown around a love of creativity, travel, and adventure. They wanted their wedding to feel like them: thoughtful and stylish, but never too serious. Most importantly, they wanted to bring their favourite people together for a really good time…and I think they did so perfectly!
Their wedding day began with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony before heading to the Audain Art Museum for their wedding ceremony. With its stunning architecture, surrounded by trees and mountains, the museum was a perfect choice for their chic, editorial vision. The stunning and unique florals and talented choir made the ceremony feel even more special.
After the ceremony, the celebrations continued at Wild Blue in Whistler, where everyone gathered for dinner and a chance to slow down and enjoy the evening together. Moving from the museum’s contemporary architecture to the warm, intimate atmosphere of the restaurant gave the day such a lovely sense of flow.
From the meaningful moments of the tea ceremony to the beautiful mountain setting and dinner with their favourite people, it was such a joy to capture a day that felt personal, relaxed, and entirely their own.
