Cecil Green Wedding

Francesca + Tyrell

Francesca and Tyrell met while living and studying in New Zealand, and four years later, they’re still there, building a life together with their two pups. With family spread between Vancouver Island, Edmonton, and New Zealand, Vancouver felt like the perfect place to bring everyone together and make it official.

We started the day at the Sylvia Hotel, where we wandered around the property for portraits. The vines growing on the building were so lush, romantic, and just the right amount of wild. Paired with their classic black-and-white aesthetic, every photo felt so perfect with these two lovebirds. There was something about the whole day that made it so easy to slow down and take it all in. So much beautiful light, lots of greenery, and the two of them completely in their element.

From there, we headed to Cecil Green Park House to make it official. This venue was the perfect choice for their elegant, minimalistic vision. Honestly, a wedding that brings together two Canadians who met on the other side of the world, their New Zealand people, and all the family in between? That feels pretty special.

There were happy tears, so much laughter, and the kind of moments you wish you could bottle up and keep forever.

A little bit of New Zealand, a little bit of Vancouver, a lot of love, and one very beautiful day at Cecil Green!
